It's not clear what this man was thinking when he waded out into the flooding Mill Creek along Greenbrier Street near Charleston, West Virginia during the major flash floods of June 16, 2003. He is most likely not aware of the extreme danger lurking with every step. The man somehow managed to keep from getting swept downstream by the raging creek, out of its banks and surging over Greenbrier Street. The floodwaters are already ripping pavement from the roadway, lifting cars and demolishing buildings nearby. Image is from video.
