Central NC chase today, ChaseCam active
UPDATE 7:57PM: I think the day is finally over - but an extremely eventful one at that. Huge rainbow with lightning over downtown, nickel-sized hail in Sanford, a couple of tower lightning hits and to top it off, actually feeling an overhead anvil crawler discharge pull the hairs up off of my head and arms! Bad news is my HD video camera has completely broken down and will need to be sent off. Some photos and video to follow later when I get back home.
UPDATE 4:22PM: Just a quick update from the road - caught a nice hailer in Sanford. Here is a quick shot - video to come later.
EARLIER: Heading out in a few minutes for storms approaching the Raleigh area. No streaming video yet, but the chase camera will be active in 'static image' mode - updating every 45 seconds.
