Testing aircard & Spotter Network in the mountains

Currently sitting outside of Winston-Salem, on the way home to Charleston. I decided to fire up the 'chase systems' in the car and test them as I cross the Appalachians. I know there will be plenty of dead zones for cell data, but I'm curious to see exactly where they are and how bad it actually is.

I signed on to Spotter Network (spotternetwork.com), a GPS tracking service that should be showing my live location as I travel (as long as the aircard stays connected). The ChaseCam will also be running, though all you'll see for the most part is the dark stretches of I-77.

Hi Dan, during the summer we get storms forming mostly from the south, not on your scale though ! Can you post a picture of a typical cloud formation for an aproaching storm other than a totaly dark mass !
