A once-strong tornado 'ropes out', or dissipates, near the town of Zurich in northern Kansas on June 9, 2005. The funnel continuously breaks up and reforms as it narrows, eventually vanishing - leaving only the large dirt-filled debris cloud surrounding the tornado's circulation on the ground.
